Best of all: Sewing softies is an excellent way to make a good use of those sewing scraps and an ideal project for sewing beginners.

1. Nessie

I really don’t know a child on the planet who wouldn’t want a stuffie that they could ride. I could see any of my grandkids sitting on this while pretending to (fill in the blank).

2. Penguins

Pdf Patterns Free

I believe penguins are social animals, so I recommend creating a flock. This pattern also uses fat quarters ~ in case you have a few laying around.

3. Sea Turtle

I love the expression on this sea turtle softie’s face. It’s like he’s peacefully swimming around in the ocean. This would be an excellent addition to a child’s room that has a beach or sea theme. Like the penguins, I believe there should be a collection.

4. Stuffed Bunny

I couldn’t create a collection of stuffed animals without including at least one bunny. And I particularly love this one because it has a pocket!

Most plushies tend to be more for girls, but these snakes have boy written all over them! Did you notice that they are made from minky cloth. Very clever, indeed.
